‘National Skill Development Mission’ has been conceptualized and is being driven for creation and development of various skills in different sectors of India.  As part of Tata Group, The Tata Power Co. Ltd. is contributing towards National Skill Development program through the Supervisory Trainee (O&M) program which creates opportunities for enhancement of technical skills in operation and maintenance of power plants to technically qualified students. The trainees are enrolled with Tata Power Skill Development Institute [TPSDI] and trained at various locations.  Applications are invited for the second batch of the Supervisory Trainee program.

*Please review the following instructions to apply for the Supervisory Trainee (O&M) program.*

a) Candidates applying for this program should meet the following eligibility criteria:

1) Passed Diploma in Engineering in 2015/2016 from an AICTE or Board of Technical Education recognized institution. Though this program is meant for Diploma Engineers, candidates with higher qualification in Engineering, desirous of undergoing this training may also apply, provided they meet the specified eligibility criteria. The terms for training and subsequent employment (subject to availability of vacancy and successful completion of training) will be uniform for candidates with Diploma in Engineering or higher qualification. Candidates will need to submit passing certificate by 1st January 2017.

2) Should belong to one of the following disciplines:
     i) Electrical
    ii) Mechanical
   iii) Electronics
   iv) Instrumentation

2) At least 60% overall marks in the Diploma/Higher Qualification in Engineering.
     Candidates belonging to SC/ST or Differently Abled category should have at least 55% overall marks.

3) Cleared the Diploma course within the minimum course duration (No year back).

4) At least 60% marks in SSC  (10th).

5) Date of birth should be on or after 01/01/1991.
     Date of birth of candidates belonging to SC/ST or Differently Abled should be on or after 01/01/1990.

b) Enter your academic details as given in your final marksheets for - Diploma/Higher Qualification, HSC and SSC. You will be required to submit the originals during later stages.

c) The last date to submit the application form is 29th September 2016.
